These terms apply to every purchase made in this store. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you buy.

1. What we sell

Guideora sells digital guides in PDF format. Each product page describes what the guide contains, roughly how long it is and who it is written for. Nothing physical is sold or shipped.

2. Orders and prices

Prices are shown at checkout in the currency displayed and include any tax that applies to your country. A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed and we send your order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order where a product was listed at an obviously incorrect price, where we suspect fraud, or where we are unable to supply the product, and in that case we refund anything you have paid.

3. Delivery

Your file is made available immediately after payment, through a download link on the confirmation page and by email. See the Delivery Policy for what to do if it does not arrive.

4. Right of withdrawal

Because your file is supplied immediately, you give express consent to that immediate supply at checkout and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun. All sales are final. The Refund and Returns Policy sets out the limited situations in which we refund anyway.

5. What you may do with the guide

When you buy a guide you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. You may:

• read it on any device you own,
• print a copy for your own use,
• use its contents in your own business and in your own work.

You may not:

• resell, rent, sub-licence or give away the file,
• upload it to a website, file-sharing service, learning platform, cloud drive or group chat where others can obtain it,
• reproduce it in whole or in substantial part in your own product, course or publication,
• use it, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence system,
• remove or alter any notice of authorship, licence or copyright.

You are welcome to quote a short passage with attribution, and to tell people about the guide. If you want to use a guide with a team, in a course, or in any way not covered above, write to us and we will arrange a licence.

6. Intellectual property

All text, structure, design and images in the guides and on this store remain the property of Boga Commerce or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

7. Nature of the content

The guides are general information and practical suggestions. They are not legal, tax, financial, employment, medical or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified person who knows your circumstances. Rules and figures differ by country and change over time, and any figure quoted in a guide is dated and sourced so that you can check it yourself.

We do not promise any particular result, income, outcome or level of performance from following a guide. What you achieve depends on your own situation, effort and judgement, and on things outside anyone's control. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

8. Technical requirements

You need a device and software that can open a standard PDF file. Free readers are available for every common operating system. We cannot be responsible for a file that will not open because of a device, an outdated application or a restriction set by your employer or school.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the store available at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may change, update or withdraw a product at any time. If a guide is updated after you bought it, we may make the updated version available to you, but we are not obliged to.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond that, our liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost savings or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

11. Force majeure

We are not liable for a failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including the failure of a payment provider, a hosting platform or an internet service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

13. Complaints and disputes

Please write to info@getguideora.com first. We answer within two working days and we would rather sort out a complaint directly than have it escalate.

Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Where you are a consumer resident in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of that country. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory rules give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
